About our Staff
Emmanuel at Brighton Child Care Centre currently employs 31 staff – 23 full time, 8 part-time.
All of our full-time educators have obtained an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma and are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education as Forest and Nature School Program. Two of our staff are Level Three Forest School Practitioners and three educators are Forest School Practitioners in training. Our staff are highly committed to the Centre – many staff have been at the Centre for over 15 years and 2 staff had celebrated 30 years of service in 2014.
The Centre provides opportunity for the staff to continue their journey of learning by attending workshops, conferences, courses and in-service training.
Our Centre offers meaningful opportunities for university, college and high school students looking to complete a placement or gain experience in the field of early childhood education. High-school or program placements will be arranged through each school's placement officer. Alternatively, co-op placements will be posted through each school's co-op posting boards.
